We Can't Go Back
Written, recorded, and mixed in a makeshift home studio in my parents' basement, We Can't Go Back is the one and only album released by my high school band, Fighting With Shadows. Emulating pop and punk rock artists of the late 90s and early 2000s, the album wears its influences on its sleeve, all the while exhibiting the raw action of two kids delighting in the digital machinations of an elementary DAW—writing, tracking, mixing, and figuring it all out along the way.
